Foundation, Harris RF, and running

2011 running, for me has heightened my outlook for this new year. I really can't believe where I'm at and thought running was taking a toll on my body from last years favorite races. A thought to post this pic as an idea to show I could not really have gotten to this point of my life without the foundation from Mom and Dad.

I've been employed at Harris RF Communications for about 5 years the very same building where Dad use to work 30 years ago. The company is about to transition to another larger building in a few months. On top of the emotional move, they've been more competitive in running the Chase Corp Championship's and will be in the Championship located in Singapore three days after me running in the Boston Marathon! I'll be in the first corral! This is my eighth straight year in Boston, my 43rd marathon in 11 years!

Jack true and Heaven

"You're my hero!" We'd say to each other. An idol and one of a kind. So true in life! 2010 about five years of marriage with Mom, 40 years of friendship with family.

I have much to run for. Jack reached the Heavens yesterday! He enjoyed following me on my running tours.

Pete Glavin 2010

I'm not a good public speaker. In 2001 Pete's running club changed my life. The ten ugly men offered a 5K running race. I entered it and started running that resulted in to over 300 races to date. I'm just a small example of many runners and families he's influenced. Recently he's been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is living in Hospice.

Many people entered a run for him on Saturday. We met Pete after the run and shared experienc'es through the years. I won't forget. I am honored to run for his running club, GVH. His idea to entertain a 5K run before the festival has been a life changing experience.

Sad and painful thought of U2' s honest words on SNL tonight, "I did not notice the passer by ...they did not notice me"....continues to say "enjoy the ride!" Got ta have the belief....It makes me want to give 100, and a major percent! Best of health!

Team Hoyt, Award and winner

Honored to be part of the runners as well as Team Hoyt, which run's with his son.  He's in a wheel  chair.  Mike's award  ceremony and gets a great picture with the winner.  What a treat for all accomplishments!

Great competition all around the world! Able to bring a PR home with a 2:57!

Excitement, Wish and Brother

As excitement escalates on the trip to Monday's Boston marathon.  

Save the date to be determined soon, meet my brother as he bartends at a local Wish bar with a pro golfer to split charity money between the Beamer Hughes Foundation and the twins!
