
My metabolism is still crank'en. Had four boritos and four bowls of cereal afer the 9 miler. Two before yesterday's Buffalo bills football game and two during. Four bowls of cereal as a midnight snack.
Felt great every day. Listened to my body rather than forcing work outs. Seems to be the key to recovering and pushing to the limit. Today's 19 miler was quicker than two Sundays ago, 2:36:43 Vs 2:43:00. Same route to the yellow house and then Empire, which I call the "Boston route". Flat for about 10 miles then hilly , like Boston. I wish the Rochester Marathon was next week!
Ran with a great runner on cool down after ER 5k on Friday. I'm in awe on how he accomplishes the races. Had great things to say and hope I can stay healthy and just participate in races that elite runners run!
Health, quite frankly is the key. It aint easy.... To be continued.
