What a run! Like Boston '04? I started with such soreness this morning. I could barely sit up straight. I turned the mattress in the middle of the night. It just got later and later in the morning, trying to start the day. I usually can start earlier on a Monday. I kept saying to myself, if I run the Empire route, then I can get to work on time. But I kept procastinating (spelling). I made my coffee with a pinch of bee polen and then prepared for some "tree fort" (French) toast, which I decided not to have. All of a sudden after THE cup of java, I got the urge to work out. The next thing I know I was doing my core traing and running out on the road! I felt great. I seemed to have energy. Kids biked by me and I sped up as well. AS I ran I came across A bird book. I did a double take and I confirmed it. Then about another 100 yards was a small tiny dead bird. It was a funky bird. Felt sorry for the thing. But kept pounding God's creation. It seemed I was so energized that the bird inspired me? I don't know why, but I felt like I had an edge today.
The next thing I know (the second) I inventoried on the Nike watch and the GREAT WORD, personal best was upon the run today! I usually run a 1:15:00. Today was a 1:11:35, in addition I did my 3:00:00 run yesterday. Way to cool.
Sorry to hear about Herrion, the NFL football player that passed away yesterday all of a sudden. E-mailed T in Chicago. Let'en him know about da Bills Vs da Bears this weekend.
